The classic "Winston Freer" puzzle is universally considered to be the finest version of the "missing pieces" puzzle ever created with a direct plot, clear visual impossibilities and some devastating magic that works across languages and ages.  It starts with you displaying a piece of abstract art in a frame - a 7 x 9 of identical gold squares that perfectly fit into the frame, removing the frame the squares are separated and then an "extra piece" with a square on it is added to the board; immediately the squares are rearranged and despite the addition somehow the puzzle forms back into a 7x9 grid of squares, another "extra piece" is added in and the puzzle pieces re-assembled yet somehow you still end up with a 7x9 grid of squares. Finally in desperation you add one final piece and..... still they reform into a 7x9 grid- with the added kicker that despite adding all these pieces the entire puzzle still fits perfectly into its original frame. Want to flip the world on it's head? yes you could present the whole effect in reverse, repeatedly taking pieces away and yet always having a perfect 7x9 grid.

NOTHING is added or taken away secretly, NOTHING telescopes or slides into anything else; every single piece is solid & real and the whole effect could be done with the audience inches away and even standing behind you! Although this looks like a collector's piece every part of this has been designed for the real world working stage magician; The large puzzle pieces are bold and visual on even the biggest stage (the setup is approx A3 size) and they attach magnetically to the display board so enabling you to present this as a "stand up" effect.
